Welcome to the K–12 Education Resources for Parents of Migratory Children.

K–12 Education Resources for Parents of Migratory Children has been created to provide Local Education Agencies (LEAs) and Education Service Centers (ESCs) who serve as Fiscal Agents for the Migrant Education Program (MEP) access to education resources that will support the unmet educational needs of their migratory children in grades K–12, to include out-of-school youth (OSY).

The resources will be developed in phases over the next few years. In 2018–2019, the followingresources will be available.

Grade BandResources
K-2 Mini-lessons, Tip Sheets with accompanying Video Vignettes, and apps to support the early literacy needs of migratory children in these grades

ESC MEP staff must provide training to LEA MEP staff on how to disseminate the resources to parents. Once the training has been received, LEA MEP staff may access the portal and provide the resources as needed to the parents of qualifying migratory children.
